Trials
Bridal hair and makeup trials are essential for ensuring you look and feel your best on your wedding day. Here’s why they’re so important and how you can make the most of them:

Why Bridal Hair and Makeup Trials are Important:

-
Test Run for the Big Day:
A trial allows you to test different styles and looks before the actual wedding day, giving you the opportunity to see how they work with your features, dress, and overall wedding theme. -
Avoid Last-Minute Surprises:
Trying out your hair and makeup in advance can help prevent any unexpected issues. You’ll know if certain products or techniques irritate your skin or if a specific style doesn’t suit you. -
Refining Your Vision:
A trial helps you fine-tune your desired look. You might have an idea of what you want, but seeing it come to life can help you make adjustments or discover new preferences. -
Planning for Time:
Knowing how long your hair and makeup will take in advance helps you schedule your wedding day timeline more efficiently. Trials give you a good sense of the time needed for each service, so there are no surprises on the big day.
Tips for Getting the Most from Your Bridal Hair and Makeup Trial:
1. Do Your Research and Have Ideas Ready:

-
Look for Inspiration: Bring pictures of the hair and makeup looks you love. Pinterest, bridal magazines, or celebrity wedding photos are great sources of inspiration. Make sure you gather a variety of ideas, even if they’re from different styles, to give us a good range of options.
-
Know Your Style: Think about the vibe you want for your wedding—boho, classic, romantic, modern, etc. This will help guide the trial and ensure your hair and makeup complement your dress and wedding theme.
2. Prep Your Skin And Hair:

-
Skincare: Clean, moisturized skin will allow your makeup to apply smoothly. Avoid any new skincare products or treatments right before your trial to prevent skin reactions. If you wear makeup daily, continue your routine.
-
Hair: Come with clean, dry hair, It's also a good idea to avoid heavy products like oils or thick gels that can weigh hair down.
3. Wear a White Shirt (or Similar to Your Dress Color):
Wearing a white or ivory shirt will help you get a better sense of how your overall look will come together with your wedding dress. It’ll allow you to see how the makeup and hair look against a similar tone to your gown.
4. Be Honest About Your Preferences

Let me know what are your likes and dislikes when it comes to having your hair and makeup done. If something doesn’t feel right or you’re not happy with a particular element, don't be afraid to let me know and we can fix it to make sure you leave happy and feeling amazing.

5. Bring Your Bridal Accessories

Headpieces, Veils, or Hairpins: If you plan to wear a veil, hairpins, or other accessories, bring them to the trial. This can help you envision the full bridal look and make sure you'll love it.
6. Don't Forget to Take Photos

-
Document the Look: Take plenty of photos during the trial so you can review them later. Sometimes the look might feel different when you see it in photos as opposed to just in the mirror.
7. Fake Tanning
If you do plan on fake tanning on your wedding I100% recommend also fake tanning for the trial! This will avoid any surprises as skin tone can massively impact the choices of tones used for eyes and lip.
